El impacto social, escolar y familiar del COVID-19 en los niños/as y adolescentes pertenecientes al Sistema de Protección a la Infancia.

Abstract

A los/as menores pertenecientes al sistema de protección a la infancia, concretamente los/as que se encuentran en acogimiento residencial, no se les ha preguntado como lo han pasado tras tener que vivir dicho virus alejados de sus seres queridos. Han sido un colectivo ignorado ante esta pandemia. Así pues, esta investigación ha querido conocer más a fondo como se han sentido en este confinamiento creado por el Covid-19. Para ello se ha elaborado un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas y abiertas, organizado en cuatro bloques: personal, social, escolar y familiar. Los resultados muestran como a la mayoría les ha afectado en gran medida el hecho de permanecer con un menor contacto con sus familiares y/o amigos. También se refleja como a través de las nuevas tecnologías se han podido seguir con su formación académica y manteniendo relaciones sociales con el exterior. Y por último se observa que para la mayoría de los menores sus vidas han cambiado significativamente, ellos/as han aprendido a valorar situaciones que antes no tenían en cuenta.

Minors belonging to the child protection system, specifically those who are in residential care, have not been asked how they have gone after having to live with said virus away from their loved ones. They have been an ignored group in the face of this pandemic. Thus, this investigation has wanted to know more in depth how they have felt in this confinement created by Covid-19. For this, a questionnaire with closed and open questions has been developed, organized into four blocks: personal, social, school and family. The results show how the majority have been greatly affected by the fact of staying with less contact with their family and / or friends. It is also reflected how through new technologies they have been able to continue with their academic training and maintaining social relations with the outside world. And finally, it is observed that for most of the minors their lives have changed significantly, they have learned to value situations that they did not take into account before.
