Gran impacto la COVID-19 en el sector turístico. Aproximación al caso de Japón y España

Abstract

Se trata de una investigación sobre cómo el COVID-19 ha afectado según la situación de cada país, puesto que no es lo mismo un país seguro y con una economía relativamente estable como puede ser Japón a otro país con diferencias económicas y sociales como puede ser España. Es por esto que analizaremos cómo han reaccionado frente a esta pandemia en todos sus ámbitos dentro del espacio temporal 2019-2020, viendo así que es lo que ha hecho cada país y que funciona o no. Trataremos tanto las medidas económicas, sociales, así como el impacto turístico que estas han tenido. El método que hemos utilizado para el análisis de los resultados obtenidos es la comparación. En el análisis de los resultados podemos ver varías similitudes entre ambos países, sintiendo ambas muestras un gran impacto en aspectos económicos, sociales, físicos e incluso sobre el bienestar de las personas. Notamos una desmotivación por parte de la muestra española en cuanto a las medidas contra la COVID – 19, por el contrario, la muestra japonesa es mucho menos directa, oscilando siempre entre valores medios. Con esto concluimos que, aunque se traten de dos países muy diferentes la COVID – 19 ha afectado a las personas de igual manera, provocando insatisfacción e incluso pérdidas económicas, pero es un hecho que ambos países desean volver a disfrutar del turismo y todo lo que este ofrece.

It is an investigation on how COVID-19 has affected the situation of each country since a safe country with a stable economy such as Japan is not the same as another country with economic and social differences such as Spain. That is why we will analyze how they have reacted to this pandemic in all its areas within the year 2019-2020, seeing what each country has done and what works and what doesn´t. We will deal with both, economic and social measures as well as the tourist impact that these have had. The method that we have used for the analysis of the results obtained is the comparison. In the analysis of the results, we can observe several similarities between both countries, they have had a huge impact on economic, social, physical, and even on people's well-being. We have also noticed acts of insecurity and demotivation when it comes to the Spanish people (they do not agree with Spain’s covid-19 measures), on the other side, the Japanese sample is much stable, always oscillating between average values. To conclude, we need to say that although these countries are different, COVID-19 has affected them (Japanese and Spanish) the same way, causing dissatisfaction and even economic losses, but it is a fact that both countries want tourism back and everything that this offers.
