Today, homeschooling continues to be a taboo subject in education. The Spanish
educational community has decided not to take account and ignore this new and emerging
alternative training. Which should surprise us if we stop to see the outgoing demand for
this option from the families of the thousands of children who are in Spain. To this, we
must add the recent situation caused by SARS-CoV-2, which shows how homeschooling
could become another new educational route in our country in the future. For this reason,
the educational system should choose to provide training to teachers so that they are
prepared at the time of imparting individualized education, and possibly at a distance (in
collaboration with families).
In this way, it would be possible to implement homeschooling without impediments and
without the consequence of harming the teaching action. Since, there are many people
who prefer this alternative, for which they look for private teaching personnel as support.
