Socializar en la muerte: Una perspectiva pedagógica.

Abstract

Mediante este proyecto de investigación se pretender conocer en qué medida los/as jóvenes adolescentes están siendo socializados en la muerte a través del sistema educativo y el ámbito familiar. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo principalmente una búsqueda bibliográfica para comprender el concepto de muerte y la percepción de este fenómeno en la sociedad a lo largo de historia. Por consiguiente, dado el tema de estudio, se ha profundizado de manera teórica sobre la adolescencia y su manera de ver la muerte y afrontar los procesos de duelo, teniendo en cuenta la influencia de la familia y el sistema educativo en esta cuestión. Como parte práctica del estudio, se ha elaborado y proporcionado un cuestionario que recoja preguntas orientadas a conocer cómo viven y experimentan los/as adolescentes el tema de la muerte, así como conocer si dicha muerte se contempla como un tema natural en el hogar y en los centros educativos.

Through this research project, the aim is to find up to what extent adolescents are familiarized with death by the educational system and their family nucleus. In the theoretical part of this project, I have used several resources to better understand the concept of death and its social perception throughout history. Therefore, considering the scope of this study, I focus on adolescents and the way in which they normally perceive death and how they face the challenges related to it, taking into account the huge influence that family and education have on this. Regarding the practical aspect, a survey has been carried out in order to know how different adolescents experience the topic of death as well as the level of familiarity in their homes and schools.
