La otra cara de la identidad. Diversidad cultural en un mundo de alteridad digital

Abstract

El presente documento muestra dos ejes principales. Por un lado y desde 1 fundamentación teórica, se ofrece una visión de cómo el concepto de diversidad cultural ha evolucionado a nivel terminológico, incluyendo todos aquellos aspectos que definen al individuo, a través de un recorrido bibliográfico, desde el término cultura hasta el concepto de identidad. En este camino, se avanza por la identidad, desglosando los diversos factores que interfieren en su formación, tanto individual como colectivamente, y el papel que juega la cultura visual a través del estudio de tres series de actualidad. Por otro lado, se desarrolla una propuesta de innovación que pretende dar respuesta a esta investigación a través de la educación artística, partiendo de las series vistas por el alumnado para ahondar en la identidad individual, cultural y colectiva. Tratando de esta manera, temas como: el género, la orientación sexual, los estereotipos culturales, la raza, el sentimiento de pertenencia ... , y utilizando estos conocimientos en la mejora de la convivencia y el respeto entre las personas, dentro y fuera del aula.

This essay shows two main points. On the one hand and from the theoretical foundation, sheds light on how the concept of cultural diversity has evolved at the terminological level, including all those aspects that define the individual, through a literature review, from the term culture to the concept of identity. In this way, it analyzes the various factors that interfere in the formation of identity, both individually and collectively, and the role that visual culture plays in each of them through the review of three current TV series. On the other hand, it presents an innovation proposal, whose main aim is to respond to this investigation through art education, starting from the TV series watched by the students to deepen into individual, cultural and collective identity. Thus, by dealing with a wide array of topics such as: gender, sexual orientation, cultural stereotypes, race, the sense of belonging ... , and by using this knowledge, coexisten ce and respect between different people can be improved, both, inside and outside the classroom.
