textos. The disinterest of Secundary School students around the reading in recent years has
increased and, at the same time as the teaching method remains monotonous and practically
immutable—we can remember that reading opening process, self-developed and silent
reading, the resolution of questions—the scholars are lost into a true textual jungle. But the
word and infinite meanings can be reach by their ears and it can act as a compass if we know
how we can guide them. The first step to achieving the literacy competence should be
showing strategies in order to they learn to cultivate the art of expressive reading and they can
share it with others. As well, given the very great interest that young people take in all kinds
of music, we suggest an interdisciplinary methodological proposal that connect it with
literature with the pretension of increase reading motivation; improve oral expression and
comprehension, and the most important thing: it means opening the door for them to a critical
analysis of literary texts.
