La respiración de las plantas como recurso educativo.

Abstract

¿Sabemos cómo respira una planta?¿Hemos visto alguna vez ese proceso? Seguro que decimos que sí a la primera pregunta, pero la otra pregunta es más difícil de responder, por ello en este trabajo se propone un recurso educativo, que trata de mostrar el proceso de respiración que se produce en las hojas, para facilitar el entendimiento a los discentes. Para ello se ha buscado el material más asequible y fácil de encontrar para el alumnado de Primaria, suponiendo una vía alternativa a los métodos tradicionales empleados en el aula sobre la respiración de las plantas a través de las hojas y favorecer el entendimiento por su parte, entre otros del proceso de la fotosíntesis. Se proponen distintas variaciones para trabajar, desde una sesión única de 45 minutos hasta un proceso con un trimestre, facilitando su adaptación en la unidad didáctica que se trabaje en el aula así como los distintos materiales complementarios si se necesitasen. También se detalla el procedimiento de una sesión, para la puesta en práctica por cualquier docente en cualquier lugar sin necesidad de espacios especiales o recursos específicos. Detallándose los resultados y las percepciones obtenidas en el aula por los docentes y los discentes.

Do we know how a plant breathes? Have we ever seen this process? We are sure that we say yes to the first question, but the other question is more difficult to answer, so this work proposes an educational resource that tries to show the breathing process that occurs in the leaves, to facilitate the understanding of the students. To do this, we have sought the most accessible and easy to find material for primary school pupils, providing an alternative to the traditional methods used in the classroom on plant respiration through leaves and favouring their understanding, among others, of the process of photosynthesis. Different variations are proposed to work from a single 45- minute session to a term-long process, facilitating its adaptation to the didactic unit to be worked on in the classroom, as well as the different complementary materials if they were to be used. It also details the procedure of a session, for implementation by any teacher in any place without the need for special spaces or specific resources. The results and perceptions obtained in the classroom by teachers and students are detailed.
