Psicomotricidad y reforma en la escuela infantil

Abstract

La finalidad del presente trabajo es poner de manifiesto la necesidad de que la Educación Psicomotriz esté presente en la educación del niño de 0 a 6 años. La causa de esta convicción reside en la manera original de aprender y desarrollarse que tiene el niño a estas edades, la cual es considerada por la práctica psicomotriz y recogida en los principios y planteamientos básicos de la Reforma Educativa de la Educación Infantil. Para reflexionar sobre estos puntos, estableceremos tres apartados. En el primero, justificaremos la necesidad de la Práctica Psicomotriz en la Escuela Infantil, analizando el desarrollo motor-cognitivo y psico-afectivo de 0 a 6 años; en el segundo, buscaremos los puntos de conexión entre la Reforma de la Educación Infantil y la Práctica Psicomotriz; en el tercero, expondremos un modelo de práctica psicomotriz coherente con estas consideraciones.

The aim of this paper is to show that Psychomotor Education needs to be present in the education of children from 0 to 6 years old. This need is based on the original way of learning and developing that manifest children at that ages, which is taken into account in Psychomotor Practice and it is present in the basic principles and proposals of the Infant School Reform. We present our reflections about this subject in three parts. In first place, we justity the need of Psychomotor Practice to be present in the Infant School, analizing the psychoaffective and motor-cognitive development of children from 0 to 6 years old. In second place, we explore the relationships between the Infant School Reform and Psychomotor Practice. Finally, we propose a model of Psychomotor Practice which take into accout the previous reflections.
