dc.description.abstract	This paper intends to explore the intertextual nature of translation through the analysis of a 19th century Spanish translation of Robinson Crusoe. The translated literary text is seen as a product embedded in the target literary system, and as such its production, position and reception will be determined by the the network of intertextual relations in which it takes an active part.	en_EN
