Uso de Las nuevas tecnologías en educación: ¿Un avance o un mal menor?

Abstract

Con el avance e implementación de la tecnología en nuestras vidas, varios centros educativos empiezan a implementar dispositivos tecnológicos en el aula como, por ejemplo, el teléfono móvil, ordenadores, etc., eliminando, por tanto, los libros físicos. Esto se incrementó tras la pandemia, en la que distintas disciplinas, como la propia educación, tuvieron que adaptarse a una nueva realidad, una que le complicó la vida tanto a docentes como a estudiantes, iniciando así un recorrido de cambio y supervivencia en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje hacia uno virtual y, posteriormente, semipresencial. En mi posición como docente novato, he visto tanto los aspectos positivos como negativos del uso de estas nuevas tecnologías en la educación para los niños y niñas. Aquellos llamados como nativos digitales tienen una terrible caligrafía y ortografía, ninguna capacidad de concentración y poco desarrollo de una lectura fluida y clara. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación, es ver, por tanto, cuánto nos aporta y cuánto nos daña el uso de la tecnología en determinadas asignaturas, fundamentalmente en Lengua Castellana, una asignatura en la que es importante tener un buen nivel de todas las competencias mencionadas con anterioridad, teniendo un nivel muy bajo en muchos casos. Además, conoceremos la opinión de algunos/as docentes contando sus experiencias durante esta curiosa travesía digital.

With the advancement and implementation of technology in our lives, several educational centers begin to implement technological devices in the classroom, for example, mobile phones, computers, etc. This increased after the pandemic, in which different disciplines, such as education itself, had to adapt to a new reality, one that complicated the lives of both teachers and students, initiating a path of change and survival in the teaching-learning process towards a virtual and later, blended learning. In my position as a novice teacher, I have seen both the positive and negative aspects of using these new technologies in education for children. Those called as digital natives have terrible calligraphy and spelling, no ability to concentrate and little development of a fluid and clear reading. The objective of this research work is to see how much it contributes to us and how much it damages us the use of technology in certain subjects, focusing on the Spanish language, a subject in which it is important to have a good level of all the competences mentioned above, having a very low level in many cases. In addition, we will know the opinion of some teachers telling their experiences during this curious digital journey.
