El sentido de los saberes escolares: la experiencia de escolarización de alumna de enseñanza secundaria

Abstract

El texto ofrece datos y reflexiones sobre el sentido de los saberes escolares que la escuela pone a disposición de las y los estudiantes de enseñanza secundaria. Toma como punto de partida la experiencia de relación con la escuela de alumnas de enseñanza secundaria, en muchos casos con una trayectoria de éxito escolar, a través de entrevistas en profundidad, para indagar sobre el sentido que tiene para ellas el trabajo escolar y lo que les reporta, las razones por las que sienten que les vale la pena hacer lo que hacen, dónde y en quién encuentran los apoyos para sostener su interés y su esfuerzo. Con ello, podremos comprender mejor qué es lo que posibilita que estas chicas se dejen afectar por lo que la escuela les ofrece y se queden con algo fundamental para sí; tanto en cuanto a que sea importante como a su cualidad de fundamento, de base, sobre la que ir edificando su vida.

The text offers data and reflections on the meaning of learning that the school makes available to secondary school pupils. Its starting point is the experience of the relationship between female secondary school pupils and the school, who in many cases have a successful school career, through in-depth interviews. We have explored their perception of the meaning of school work and its benefits to them, the reasons why they feel that what they are doing is worthwhile and where and from whom they receive support to keep up their interest and efforts. By doing this, we believe that we will better understand what enables these girls to allow themselves to be affected by what the school offers them and to take away something essential to them; in terms of its importance as a foundation on which they are able to build their lives
