Estudio de casos: las Necesidades Específicas de Apoyo Educativo en la relación familia-escuela

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación es profundizar en la relación entre las familias y la escuela cuando reciben diagnósticos de sus hijos e hijas con NEAE. A pesar de la existencia de leyes orientadas a este colectivo, la colaboración y coordinación entre las familias y la escuela son factores sumamente importantes para brindar el máximo apoyo posible al alumnado con NEAE. En este estudio se examinó el caso de un centro en Tenerife, utilizando dos entrevistas y un grupo de discusión para contrastar los resultados obtenidos. Los hallazgos destacan la necesidad de fortalecer la relación entre las familias y la escuela en beneficio del alumnado en el futuro.

The aim of this research is to delve into the relationship between families with students with SEN and the school once they receive diagnoses of their children. Therefore, a series of laws have been enacted in order to guide this collective. However, there is a highly important factor: the families, who must coordinate with the school and ensure that the relationship is optimal in order to provide all possible support to students with SEN. In this study, the case of a school in Tenerife was examined. To achieve this, two interviews and a focus group discussion were conducted to contrast the obtained results, which indicate that the relationship between families and the school should be strengthened for the well-being of the students in the future.
