Ensayo de tres variedades de pimiento, Capsicum annuum L. de tipo Lamuyo en dos tipos de invernaderos y en distintos sistemas de cultivo

Abstract

Este ensayo se realizó en la isla de Tenerife en concreto en el municipio de la Laguna en las instalaciones de La Escuela Politécnica Superior de Ingeniería (EPSI) (Sección de Ingeniería Agraria). Se decidió realizar el siguiente ensayo con el fin de analizar agronómicamente tres variedades de pimientos tipo Lamuyo. Se cultivaron las variedades Barberito F1, Perla F1 y Lamuyo F1 en dos tipos de invernaderos uno de cristal y otro de plástico. Para el semillero se utilizó dos tipos de sustratos: turba y turba + perlita (1:1) siendo los porcentajes de germinación muy similar en ambos sustratos, dándose mayor porcentaje en turba con un 94% mientras que en turba + perlita un 90%. El trasplante se realizó en dos sistemas de cultivo diferentes, uno en lana de roca y otro en tierra. Con un diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con tres repeticiones (bloques) y plantas borde. Se realizan las labores oportunas, transcurriendo sin graves incidencias hasta la recolección. Para el estudio estadístico se empleó un análisis de la varianza, separándose las medias mediante el Test de Tukey y en cuanto a la comparación entre invernaderos se ha empleado la T de Student. Los resultados de los valores estudiados refiriéndonos a las tres variedades fueron muy similares en el peso, diámetro, altura de plantas, rendimiento, calibres y destrío. Destacar que hubo diferencia estadísticamente significativa en la longitud de los frutos siendo la variedad Barberito F1 superior a las demás variedades. Respecto a los invernaderos si se obtuvo diferencia significativa en todos los parámetros exento en el diámetro, obteniéndose mayores valores en el invernadero de plástico. This essay was carried out on the island of Tenerife in particular in the municipality of La Laguna in the facilities of the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering (EPSI) (Agrarian Engineering Section). It was decided to carry out the following test in order to agronomically analyze three varieties of Lamuyotype peppers. The varieties Barberito F1, Perla F1 and Lamuyo F1 were cultivated in two types of greenhouses one of glass and another one of plastic. For the seedbed, two types of substrates were used: peat and peat + perlite (1: 1), the germination percentage being very similar in both substrates, giving a higher percentage in peat with 94% while in peat + perlite 90%. The transplant was performed in two different culture systems, one in rock wool and another in normal soil. With an experimental design of complete random blocks with three replicates (blocks) and edge plants. Timely work is carried out, without serious incidents until the harvest. For the statistical study, an analysis of the variance was used, the means being separated by means of the Tukey test, and the Student's T was used for the comparison between greenhouses.. The results of the studied values referring to the three varieties were very similar in weight, diameter, height of plants, yield, calibres and destrío. Note that there was a statistically significant difference in the length of the fruits being the Barberito F1 variety superior to the other varieties. Regarding the greenhouses if a significant difference was obtained in all parameters exempt in diameter, obtaining higher values in the plastic greenhouse.
