Formación y características del profesorado de Educación Física en Educación Secundaria

Abstract

The objective of this work was to analyze the perception of the students of an educational center on the qualities that felt that it should take a good teacher of Physical Education, in addition it also discusses the vision of eleven students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Teacher Training in Secondary Education in the specialty of Physical Education. To this end, an analysis was carried out through interviews with the students of the Master and a questionnaire of open questions to the sample of 443 students of the educational center. The results show how future teachers of physical education require a larger amount of theoretical and practical training, as well as take into account the necessity of experience to continue with their training. The students of the schools values the qualities of a good teacher of Physical Education, highlighting the family Teaching as the most important.

El objetivo de este trabajo consistió en analizar la percepción del alumnado de un centro educativo sobre las cualidades que consideran que debe tener un buen profesor de Educación Física, además también se analiza la visión de once alumnos que cursan el Máster en Formación del Profesorado en Educación Secundaria en la especialidad de Educación Física. Para ello, se realizó un análisis mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas a los alumnos del Máster y un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas a la muestra de 443 alumnos del centro educativo. Los resultados muestran como los futuros docentes de Educación Física demandan mayor formación teórica y práctica, además tienen en cuenta la necesidad de la experiencia para continuar con su formación. El alumnado de los centros educativos valora las cualidades del buen profesor de Educación Física, destacando la familia Didáctica como la más importante.
