El Género en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Ciencias Sociales

Abstract

In this research we wanted to know the state of the question in respect of the perception of gender in relation to the learning and teaching of Social Sciences. To achieve this, we sought the opinions of teachers of both GCSE and Baccalaureate levels in history, geography and history of art, using a questionnaire as the quantitative instrument. The investigation focussed on ascertaining the actual extent to which this subject was encountered within the classroom. That is, whether it is a situation where the institutional elements are a concept of the bureaucratic machine, or if it is a reality which has emerged within society that has transferred into education.

En este trabajo hemos querido conocer el estado de cuestión respecto al tratamiento de la perspectiva de género que se hace en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de las Ciencias Sociales. Para ello hemos atendido la opinión del profesorado de Secundaria y Bachillerato en Geografía, Historia e Historia del Arte, a través de un cuestionario como instrumento cuantitativo. Esta investigación persigue averiguar en qué estado realmente se encuentra esta cuestión dentro de las aulas, si es un concepto más mecanizado de manera burocrática en los elementos institucionales o si, por el contrario, es una realidad que emerge en la sociedad a través de la educación.
