2020Abstract
tema a abordar.
The main topic treated in the present work is known as Severe Conduct Disorder,
which was selected after an internship program as a teacher performed during my
studies at University. During the experience, I came to the conclusion that I was not
enough familiarized with the topic and I would like to expand my knowledge about
it. In order to do so, the term known as NEAE will be discussed, including its
meaning and the different teaching options offered for the students included under
this umbrella.
The Disorder is shown through behavior and it is diagnosed by the DSM-5 criteria.
All the information collected for the present work has been selected through
bibliographic review, using Dialnet as the main data searcher. From this point
onwards, all documents under the “Severe Conduct Disorder” searching criteria are
initially selected in order to proceed with their analysis. In the figures are included
and explained all documents, both selected and rejected, due to its relation and
relevance to the topic treated.
In the presentation, all documents are distinguished between articles and thesis. The
studies are also identified, exposing all materials used and identifying if the study
was performed either at school or in an external context. Additionally, some therapy
works are analyzed as well as projects which are focused on teacher training and
other relevant questions rethinking the management of schools with special needs
students.
A final conclusion is presented, where the believe of a correct direction to inclusion
is shown based to the fact that current teachers count with information and tools.
However, there is still a long road ahead which must be driven consciously.
