The problem-posing has been the subject of research for years, and in
various experiences, its effectiveness, utility, and the benefits it provides in the classroom have
been demonstrated. However, it is still a strategy that is underutilized in education. The
objective of this research project is to improve problem-solving skills in a group of secondgrade students in Primary Education and, furthermore, analyze the effectiveness of this activity
in the classroom. To achieve these objectives, the research and studies conducted by various
authors on this topic, as well as the conclusions they have reached regarding the benefits of
problem posing, have been taken into account. In order to reach the proposed objectives, a
pretest-posttest methodology is employed, allowing for the observation of students' progress in
problem-solving.
